New Office to Open in Southbridge on May 31, 2018

ANNOUNCEMENT:  Women’s Health of Central MA to Open Southbridge Office

Welcoming Harrington OB patients and expectant mothers from surrounding areas.

Women’s Health of Central MA, P.C., (WHCMA) is opening an office adjacent to Harrington Hospital in Southbridge at the end of May 2018. We warmly welcome both new patients and current Harrington Physician Services (HPS) obstetrical patients as HPS will shift its Ob/Gyn practice to full-time Gynecology.

WHCMA is the largest independent physician’s group in Central Massachusetts with offices on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, Maple Street in Marlborough and Thompson Road on Webster Lake.  Beginning May 31, 2018, patients will be cared for at our newest office location, 164 South Street, Southbridge, adjacent to Harrington’s main hospital campus. The office will be staffed by our obstetricians and certified nurse midwife. Appointments are now available.  To schedule, please call 508-755-4861. Deliveries will continue to be performed at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus in Worcester.  UMass Memorial boasts the area’s only Level III, internationally recognized Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the area.

Our independent practice has 15 board-certified obstetricians and midwives, many of whom will be rotating to the Southbridge office. Drs. Amy Chang, Tiffany Forti, Stanley Surette, Leah Wilson; along with Cynthia Joslyn, Certified Nurse Midwife, will be among the first obstetrical providers caring for patients at Women’s Health’s Southbridge office. Convenient in-office OB ultrasound and free parking are offered. We are very much looking forward to assuming prenatal and postpartum care for Harrington’s obstetric patients and expectant women in the Southbridge and surrounding communities.

Women’s Health of Central Massachusetts is delighted to announce this new collaborative relationship with Harrington Physician Services. HPS obstetric patients are being assisted with the transfer of their medical records and will be able to continue receiving care close to where they work and live.

Drs. Mark Simonelli and Christine Carey will remain available at the 100 South Street, Suite G05 location in Southbridge continuing to provide gynecological and urogynecological services for women, including adolescent and teen health, well checks, birth control, surgical treatment, menopause and medication management. Dr. Carey will also continue to be available in Spencer for appointments.
